- Languages Accepted: Only English or Czech.
- Requirements:
- Use a certified translator appointed by the Ministry of Justice; for English, a sworn translator is required. Beware using translation agencies!
- Translations must include a verified copy of the document being translated + translation, and both must be sealed together by the translator using a certified sticker and stamp. Staples are not acceptable.
- Do not separate any page/pages after sealing; unauthenticated translations or copies will be rejected.

- Requirement: All separate sheets must include relevant authentication, carry the applicant's name or roll number, and must be either superlegalized or carry an apostille- specific to the country where they were issued - check the "verification of authenticity" guidelines section.
Starting April 1, 2024: All documents must have an original superlegalization sticker or an apostille in the format of the sticker attached (this applies especially to countries like India). If the competent authority in your country attaches stickers only to original documents , you must submit both:
- The document with the original sticker.
- A photocopy of the document above – front and back page
Original Documents Return Options:
- Pick-up: Retrieve originals in person at the Foreign Diploma Evaluation Office upon scheduled agreement
- Mail: For applicants abroad, documents can be mailed back at your expense.
- Documents sealed by any institution (e.g., educational institutions, Czech Embassy) must remain intact, unsealing, or tampering leads to rejection.
- Strict No: No abbreviations, typos, or alterations on your documents. The details must be precisely the same on the passport.
- What to Do:
- For complete name changes: Provide an officially verified proof of the change (e.g., marriage certificate) and submit a notarized copy.
- For minor distinctions: Provide a notarized statutory declaration/affidavit confirming the name as stated on the documents.
- Bachelor Applicants:
- Submit the latest relevant education certificate plus the final year of high school. An equivalency/migration certificate may also be required.
- Master and PhD Applicants:
- Provide evidence of any recognized credits or exemptions from prior studies to explain shorter completion times for degrees. Include certificates and transcripts from recognized prior learning.
- Requirement: Official translations are required for any stamps or notations not in the Latin alphabet, especially for documents from countries like Vietnam, Syria, Myanmar, etc.
