Students of bachelor's and master's degree programmes have to participate in an internship related to their bachelor's or master’s thesis. The length of 120 hours is obligatory to fulfill the internship. After successful participation, the Student’s Certificate of Completion of Practical Work (Internship) form has to be filled in by the student and the company. On the basis of the confirmed Student’s Certificate of Completion of Practical Work (Internship) form, the supervisor of the diploma thesis will sign the credit for the subject Bachelor's/Master’s Internship, usually during the last semester of the studies. If the company requires a contract, the enclosed framework agreement on internship can be used. If a student does not find a company for completion of the internship by him/herself, the Career Center at FEM can help with finding a short-term placement, for example through the Jobs FEM Portal.
