The visa process is between the applicant for the visa (student) and the particular Embassy. The university cannot interfere in this process in any way! It is the student's responsibility to check the website of the Embassy and collect all required documents.
After you successfully pass the admission exam and make the tuition fee payment for the first academic year (135.000 CZK for the GISM program), we will provide an Acceptance Letter. If you manage to get a placement at a university dormitory on the campus or dormitory WEST, we will also provide an Accommodation Letter.
Both documents will be sent via DHL, and each applicant can receive one DHL parcel free of charge!
In case your visa is denied, you can appeal against the decision. We recommend you to do this with the assistance of a lawyer. University doesn't assist in this matter.
If the appeal doesn't work, we will refund you the full tuition fee based on the denial letter from the Embassy.
The whole process of obtaining a visa is complicated and long, thus you should start as soon as possible. You should apply for an appointment at the embassy once you have acceptance letter (issued by university once the tuition is paid) and accommodation letter (you need to obtain it from the accommodation institution yourself). Also, you can be nominated to student mode (if eligible click here). Once you are nominated to student mode (need to be eligible + provide Nostrification/Internal Evaluation and acceptance letter) then you need to wait until the embassy reaches out to you and makes an appointment for you.
