On June 27, 2024, the Faculty of Economics and Management, together with the partners from practice, the company SAS Institute, and the data academy DataBon, recognized the software, statistical, and analytical skills of 11 students of the Faculty of Economics and Management.
From the hands of the Dean of the Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Tomáš Šubrt, Ph.D., and representatives of partner institutions, Katarína Krausová (SAS) and Michaela Modálková (DataBon), seven students received a certificate confirming their excellent skills in statistical data analysis in SAS and four students received a certificate confirming their excellent skills in data analysis in Statistica software.
The certificates summarise the knowledge acquired by the students in the courses taught and guaranteed by the Department of Statistics of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), as well as the skills of advanced analytical work with the relevant statistical software. The certificates thus open doors for students in the labour market, especially for positions in the field of statistical data analysis, data mining, or machine learning.
We would like to congratulate the awarded students and thank our colleagues in the Department of Statistics for motivating students to work with specialized software and for their ability to inspire them to study statistics beyond the required standards.
Detailed information about the possibilities and conditions of certification in the next academic year 2024/2025 can be for the SAS programme obtained from Tomáš Hlavsa and for the Statistica programme from Radka Procházková.
