The aim of the Career Centre at FEM is to establish and develop cooperation of the faculty and the university with commercial subjects, organizations, institutions and individuals (such as important professionals, managers and alumni).
The Centre enhances the cooperation with partner institutions, increases the ratio of professional contributing to the education, educates students, supports graduates in the labour market and develops expert counselling services in the practical direction. The Centre organises workshops focused on the problematics of labour market, professional trainings and lectures lead by the top professionals.
The Centre organises annual Career Fair, which is designed primarily for students of the Faculty of Economics seeking employment and for companies that want to present the students their offer of trainee programs and available positions of part-time or full-time employment.
The Centre is the administrator of the e-portal JOBS FEM, where students can find available job possitions, part-time jobs, trainee programs and internships.
The e-portal JOB FEM is a platform and database gathering:
- entrepreneurs, institutions, leisure, media or other entities with the intention of a mutually beneficial collaboration
- managers and professionals cooperating in the fields of education, scientific research, internationalisation, public relations, economic growth, etc.
- activities to support education, graduate job opportunities, job related counselling, links to practise and regions.
